TELL US HOW ARGENTUM APOTHECARY CAME TO BE?
The idea to start ARgENTUM came to me a few years ago when I had an actual dream about Colloidal Silver with its extraordinary antibacterial and healing properties and using it in skincare. Prior to this dream I experienced a severe infection after major surgery, my saving grace was the Doctors agreeing to use expensive silver wound dressings, which ended up being miraculous in their healing power. This traumatic experience must have stayed in my subconscious, only to resurface at a later time as an empowering dream. Since then the journey to deliver a magical product with integrity and love has been an inspiring one.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU WHEN CREATING A PRODUCT?
That moment when I say ‘ah, I wish this product did this or did that, or looked and felt a certain way’, that’s what inspires me. It’s then that I know I need to create the product, its love story… and so the journey begins…
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN CREATING FOR ARGENTUM?
There is a lot of creative collaboration that goes on within ARgENTUM. We like to draw from the different archetype energies and feel it helps to create the perfect balance of masculinity, with feminine intuition.
WHY DO YOU BELIEVE GOOD BEAUTY CARE IS SO IMPORTANT?
We all have beautiful bits, and caring for them is as important as giving fresh flowers water. I believe that beauty on the inside is as important as beauty on the outside and finding a balance between the two is challenging, but achievable.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE PRODUCT FROM YOUR COLLECTION?

WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE SO FAR?
I think one of the biggest challenges has been around creating new product that is as magical and unique as la potion infinie. We strive for perfection and this can be a difficult road, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

WHAT HAS BEEN A HIGHLIGHT FOR THE COMPANY?
This year we have won our second Best Anti-Age Award and this time with Harper’s BAZAAR. It is so wonderful to receive acknowledgement at the start of this, our journey.
