Brexit

brexit

General Information

With Brexit came a slew of adjustments to online retail's order and delivery processes. We did everything we could to ensure that our consumers were not put at a disadvantage as a result of Brexit, and to minimise the impact of Brexit on the entire purchasing experience.

However, some changes could not be avoided. We have listed the new updates in this regard down-below.

Everything you need to know

This page was created to explain the changes that took effect on January 1, 2021, in relation to Brexit. It will be updated on a regular basis to keep you as up to date as possible, but if you have any questions that aren't answered here, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@alyaka.com.

- Am I still able to order to Europe after Brexit?

- Will my order take longer to be delivered?

- Has the cost of delivery changed?

- I still have a question.

Amazing VAT updates that benefit our EU customers!

At the checkout, EU customers will be charged the full VAT of the whole order value. You will pay the same price as before Brexit, which includes all local EU VAT. Your total order value (after discounts) must be less than EUR 150, and it must be delivered to EU Member State regions.

NO unpleasant surprises or hidden costs when your order arrives.

Furthermore, beginning July 1, 2021, all EU-based orders sent outside of the UK with a value of EUR 150 or less will no longer be subject to customs clearance fees.

! Please be aware that orders over EUR 150 are subject to tariffs and import VAT, as they have been since January 1, 2021. Please note that this does not apply to orders placed in Romania or the Czech Republic, which means that consumers must pay VAT on all orders above EUR 22.
