What is Rahua?The Rahua nut (pronounced rah-wa) is an amazonian secret. For centuries the people of the Quechua-Shuar tribe have harvested this nut and extracted it’s oily contents by hand - it is an extremely time intensive process and can take up to a month for the golden oil of the rahua nut to appear. The women of the Quechua-Shuar believe this oil is the secret to their thick, flowing, lustrous hair. Intrigued, Rahua founder and renowned New York stylist Fabian Lliguin studied the effects of this oil on his clients’ hair and was amazed at the revitalising properties. |
What is so unique about Rahua?
Unlike regular oils that simply coat the hair, Rahua oil has a unique molecular structure that makes the individual oil molecules small enough to actually penetrate the hair cortex, where they bond and repair the hair whilst smoothing it’s cuticle - creating the incredibly soft, shiny and healthy hair that the Quechua-Shuar women are famous for. |

For incredible volume and bounce the Voluminous Shampoo and Conditioner are the perfect duo, with citrus juices, green tea and lemongrass to deeply cleanse and balance the scalp, plus the star Rahua oil, rich in Omega-9 heals and strengthens the hair shaft from root to tip. Follow with the Voluminous Hairspray and the unique fuzzy-fibres will gradually build long-lasting volume without chemicals, alcohol or greasy build up. |

Rahua’s Color Full range is specifically designed for colour-treated hair. Other options, including Hydration and Enchanted Island, may also suit coloured hair depending on its moisture, strength and styling needs.
How to use Rahua shampoo?
Apply a small amount to thoroughly wet hair and massage it into the scalp and lengths. Add more water to help activate the lather, then rinse well. Repeat if needed and follow with the matching Rahua conditioner.
