About Yarok

	Mordechai Alvow Renowned hairstylist Mordecai Alvow was led to create his own line after developing serious allergies and having constant painful reactions to the conventional products he was using on his clients hair. Realising his calling was something a little greener, Yarok was born. Using modified traditional recipes of nutrient rich oil blends, Yarok products are formulated exclusively from plant ingredients and created fresh in small batches to preserve performance.
Yarok Philosophy Yarok is dedicated to creating haircare that is not only completely all-natural and vegan, but also sustainable, ethically sourced and mindfully produced. Yarok is committed to transparency and proudly list every ingredient on their labels. They’re also passionate about minimising their carbon footprint and even use the most environmentally friendly non-paper material available for their labels, it’s waterproof (made from corn!), and can wrinkle slightly from time to time, but what’s a wrinkle when you’re saving a tree?
	Catwalk Approved Mordechai Alvow is known for his innovative and fresh looks on fashion week catwalks, and of course he and his team always use Yarok products to achieve the perfect finish. Most recently the models for sustainable fashion brand Catherine Litke at New York Fashion Week all sported slicked roots and soft waves created with Feed Your Hold, Feed Your Ends and Feed Your Shine. When not focused on his own line, Mordechai travels the world as an editorial stylist, creating looks that grace the covers of Allure, ELLE and more.
The Yarok Beauty Kitchen Located in the heart of the Chelsea neighbourhood, NYC, the Yarok Beauty Kitchen is an intimate 3 chair salon dedicated to the Yarok lifestyle of organic beauty. Here Mordechai and his small team work magic on the hair with cuts, organic colouring and exclusive custom blended Yarok treatments which are made from fresh ingredients and blended right in front of you.
	An Edited Collection With Yarok products there’s no need for a bathroom overflowing with styling products and bottle after bottle of shampoo. Each formula took years to perfect and was tested on Mordechai’s vast client list before being released. Concentrated and often multitasking, you can cut down on waste and find the perfect products for you, whether you’re seeking volume, moisture or glossy locks.
